CZ Bren 2 Ms

The CZ Bren Conversion opens up the cartridge options to a whole new world.

To accomplish this conversion we have to re-use your current barrel extension and piston block.  You will need to send in your complete firearm to make the swap.  You can send your firearm to us directly you do not need to use an FFL.  You have already purchased the gun and we are merely doing “Gunsmithing” work.

Depending on barrel length and cartridge there are multiple gas piston regulators.   We try to use the OEM regulator by adjusting barrel port and if needed enlarging regulator ports. To get optimum function you may need to purchase an HBI regulator.  We test with all 4 of the regulators they offer.  

There are 2 different piston block journals, 16mm, and 18mm.  With 300 Blackout and 7.62×39 we use 5/8×24 thread with a 16mm journal, there is no shoulder at the muzzle thread, and all devices have to be face-mounted.  We currently use Rearden devices.  This will make the muzzle thread longer than standard.  

If you have an 18mm block we can make a 5/8 thread with a shoulder, this will allow you to use any device it will not have to be face-mounted.

For barrels over 14.5″ we move the piston block location to carbine length.  HBI makes a carbine handguard that you are able to purchase.  https://hbindustries.net/store/product-category/cz-usa/cz-bren-2/.  You will need to purchase the carbine length Op Rod as well.

All our CZ Bren barrels are nitride.  You do not have the option of a Stainless finish.
